In this issue:

The stock market is extremely vulnerable here. That doesn’t mean it will collapse, but the risk is growing. That’s what the charts are for - to warn us of when risk is high. And it is.

My response? Exploit that for profit, on multiple time frames. This issue is devoted to that approach. Because markets have changed, and we need to change with them.

  • Indexes: They are all moving too closely together. At least if you are trying to be a “diversified investor.” No such thing anymore, at least within much of the US stock market. That’s what this week’s issue is about.

  • ETFs: I have narrowed down my main investment process to a dozen ETFs. I used them to create the new ETF Yourself model portfolio.

  • Stocks: The issue is that when markets move strongly in either direction, most stocks come along for the ride. That’s because index investing and algorithms dominate trading now.

  • Other timely stuff: Below, I discuss more specifically what I’m doing about all of this.

Plus, my latest thoughts on markets and the latest update to the ROAR Score. Here’s the Weekly ROAR!
