In this issue:

  • Indexes: Quite a start to 2026...not. The major stock indexes are going nowhere. I think I know why. And what it means.

  • ETFs: I swapped out 1 of the 10 ETFs in my Allocation Portfolio. I explain what prompted that change. Also, why that portfolio’s nickname is “RAP.” Something I don’t know how to do at all.

  • Stocks: This might be the most diffuse set of Dow 30 charts I’ve seen in some time. A few look solid, and a few other look like a 4-letter word. And I’m not talking about their ticker symbols!

  • Other timely stuff: I should keep this a secret...but I just can’t. The project to automate not only the calculation of ROAR Scores “on demand,” and to create portfolios around them, is in its final stages. Working with my friends at PiTrade.com, the process I started 5 years ago to translate what my eyeballs see in an ETF or stock chart into a single risk rating is finally here. The finishing touches are happening now, and once we have it all “gussied up” (showing my age with that expression), our subscribers will have access to a unique risk-monitoring tool for their investing. In this week’s issue and in our live show at 4pm ET today, a little sneak preview.

Plus, my latest market thoughts, and the latest update to the ROAR Score. Here’s the Weekly ROAR.
