There was no “Black Friday” sale here at ETF Yourself. We think we did something more valuable than a one-time discount.

We added even more value to the existing subscription

You see, we’re all about providing something unique in a sea of sameness. And while we already think there’s a lot of value in what we provide to subscribers, we thought of another way to incentivize folks to join our growing community:

Starting Thursday 12/18, we’ll be debuting a second weekly publication for all subscribers. Get ready for ETF Yourself “Depth Charts.”

It’s a snapshot, expanded look at a broader set of ETFs, designed to go just a bit deeper beyond the “big picture” view we provide each Tuesday. It will also serve as a valuable learning tool for investors who realize there are a lot of ETFs out there, but don’t quite get how they all fit together. We’ll provide a current/sample issue this Thursday 12/4, for all subscribers to see.

And, our first quarterly live session is now set for next Tuesday, 12/9, at 4pm ETF. All paid subscribers will receive a Zoom link to join us. We’ll record it too, in case you can’t join us live.

On the agenda:

  • Rob’s latest market view

  • A live walkthrough of that day’s Weekly ROAR

  • Answers to your questions...

...which we encourage paid subscribers to submit in advance to info@sungardeninvestment.com by Monday 12/8 at 5pm.

In this issue:

  • Indexes: This market is so lacking in conviction, I’m going back to my favorite equity index in hopes of finding some sanity. I’ll show you what I mean below.

  • ETFs: Guess what? There are too many of them! The same thing happened to the mutual fund industry. I can’t help our subscribers stop the endless flow of ETF-related blather that hits our phones all day. But I can sort through and separate the stuff that matters from what is a sales tool on the part of Wall Street. More on this below.

  • Stocks: There are now fewer US-listed stocks than ETFs now. And many of those don’t matter much either. But in a market starved for good ideas, I’ll provide some rational thinking below.

  • Other timely stuff: See above. If you are a subscriber, your $150 or $600 a year subscription just got more valuable. If you are not, you have more incentive to join us. And with our ROAR Score proprietary scoring system in the final stages of being more automated, we don’t expect this to be the last time we say “your subscription just got more valuable!”

Plus, my latest market thoughts, and the latest update to the ROAR Score. Here’s the Weekly ROAR.
